Lighting
The start of the Art Nouveau coincides with the spectacular introduction of electric light and its derived invention, the film, in the 19th century. Light and film are the ingredients of the most important aspect of Art Nouveau: MOVEMENT. This makes it obvious that the artists of this period used light and lamps partly or as a whole to design their ideas.
Again in the Art Deco movement lamps became a frontline object for new ideas of designers. The design of lamps in this period is already that important for any interior that designers couldn’t get around it.
